Rebuilding an Azure foundation with Infrastructure as Code
A community savings bank's existing Azure tenant carried security, infrastructure, and disaster-recovery gaps left by a prior vendor. We reassessed and rebuilt the foundation with Infrastructure as Code and active/active DR.
The challenge
A community savings bank had stood up an Azure tenant with a previous vendor and grew concerned about the underlying infrastructure. Our assessment found significant security, infrastructure, and disaster-recovery gaps that needed resolution.
Our approach
Using the assessment findings, we determined a foundational revamp of the tenant was in order and rebuilt it with Infrastructure as Code, following Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework.
We deployed active/active DR locations and integrated Meraki VPN and Rapid7 appropriately within the Azure environment.
Outcomes
- ✓Azure foundation rebuilt and configured to best practice
- ✓Active/active disaster-recovery locations deployed
- ✓Meraki VPN and Rapid7 deployed in Azure
