Migrating from Forcepoint to Microsoft Defender for 365
A regional savings bank moved off Forcepoint to Microsoft Defender for 365 — lowering licensing cost, strengthening protection against phishing and malware, and getting more from its existing Microsoft 365 investment.
The challenge
A regional savings bank wanted to move away from Forcepoint and replace its functionality with Microsoft Defender for 365, reducing annual licensing costs while better capitalizing on its existing Microsoft 365 investment.
Our approach
We assessed the existing Defender for 365 configuration and built a tailored deployment plan with a timeline and cutover strategy from Forcepoint.
We planned and executed communication, end-user training, and administrative knowledge transfer, then configured Defender for 365 to best practice using the Standard and Strict policies and cut over mail flow from Forcepoint.
Outcomes
- ✓Fully deployed Defender for 365 Standard & Strict policies
- ✓Smooth, well-communicated cutover with training and enablement
- ✓Documented solutions and educational topics to aid decision-making
