The challenge
To reduce cost, maintenance overhead, and reliance on third-party tooling, a community savings bank wanted to replace its Zix email solution and get more from its existing Microsoft investment.
Our approach
We ran a holistic review of the Zix deployment and planned the feature comparison, end-user notifications, and education needed for a clean transition.
We deployed Microsoft Defender for 365 for mail hygiene, mail security, and encryption, and configured Microsoft Purview data loss prevention to keep sensitive information from leaving the institution unencrypted. We also branded the Defender email portal to reinforce legitimacy with external parties, and built training assets and communication channels for end users.
